Antonio JonesJan 04, 2017

Arsenal came back from 3-0 down to score three goals in 20 minutes and deny Bournemouth a famous victory on the south coast.

A red card for Francis added to the hope and Arsenal gave it everything and continued to threaten and in the second of six injury time minutes the scorpion kick hero and late goal specialist Giroud heaed us level, nearly unbelievably.

Manchester City passed Arsenal in the table for third place with its win on Monday but has played one more game.

However, after a disappointing display in the opening 70 minutes Arsenal suddenly launched their comeback in the final 20, with Sanchez setting them on their way with a diving header from close range - Arsenal's first shot on target of the night.

While Wilson remonstrated, Arsenal cleared the loose ball.

Soon afterwards, Aaron Ramsey was nearly threaded through by another Sanchez touch - but the home side hit back and tested visiting goalkeeper Petr Cech with a Junior Stanislas strike from range. The right back was fooled by Fraser from Daniels' ball down the channel and the young Bournemouth midfielder cut in before beating Cech.

Half Daniels' family support Tottenham and half Arsenal, but all will have leapt for joy at their relative's stunning goal. We need to recover well and train again and prepare for Bournemouth. Benik Afobe opened the scoring before Ryan Fraser doubled the lead just before the break.

But it was soon joy again for Howe's men with a goal that Bellerin will not want to see again on 58 minutes.

Arsenal were dealt a blow after 27 minutes when Francis Coquelin had to be substituted due to an injury. Arsene Wenger made a couple of changes for the second game in a little over 48 hours, most notably, reinstating Aaron Ramsey and Shkodran Mustafi in the starting lineup.

After Bournemouth's second goal, Arsenal appeared to be crumbling.

After 56 minutes, an Arter blast from the edge of the box deflected in off Wilson, but the referee judged that it had hit the Bournemouth striker on the hand on its way in.
